Caroline joined the team in 2013 and became our CEO in 2021. She has more than two decades’ experience of managing investments for families, individuals and charitable foundations.
Starting her career as a trainee fund manager at Newton Investment Management, she has headed up Newton’s International Private Clients team and served on the board of its Jersey business. Her regulatory experience includes acting as designated senior manager for anti–money laundering and financial crime at both Newton and Navera.
As a member the University of Oxford’s Socially Responsible Investment Review Committee from 2015 to 2020, she contributed to shaping responsible investment practices. In 2020, she was invited to join the University of Oxford as a Visiting Fellow to broaden the impact of its Executive Education programme.
In 2015 she was a founding trustee of a charity focused on tackling youth unemployment in the UK and acted as a trustee of the charity until 2017.
Caroline holds an MA (Hons) in Economics and Management from the University of St. Andrews and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
A former co-host of Game Changers – a network for female leaders driving positive change across different industries – she continues to champion thoughtful leadership within the investment industry through a peer group network she set up.
